Dr.
Caryn Orlin-Kraff is one of a small, select group of female retinal
surgeons in the US, specializing in diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration,
retinal detachments, eye tumors, and eye trauma.
She received her undergraduate degree, Cum Laude, from
the University of Pennsylvania and graduated in the top ten percent
of her class from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Orlin-Kraff
interned at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center and completed her residency
and a Fellowship in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and
vitreous at Northwestern University Medical Center.
Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr.
Orlin-Kraff is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Associate
of Research in Vision in Ophthalmology, Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Society,
American Medical Association, Chicago Medical Society, Chicago Ophthalmological
Society, and the Vitreous Society.
