Dr.
William Lissner, serving the Chicagoland community with comprehensive
ophthalmology since 1976, is on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital
and on the faculty of Northwestern University Medical School.
Graduating from Northwestern University Medical School where he received the Upjohn Achievement Award, Dr. Lissner completed his internship and residency at Northwestern University Medical Center. His Fellowship in diseases of the cornea was done at Moorsfield Eye Hospital in London, and he served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Kenner Army Hospital in Virginia.
Dr. Lissner is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, Chicago Ophthalmologic Society, American Medical Society, Illinois Medical Society, and Chicago Medical Society.
